These lectures intend to gives an introduction to convex analysis, and was designed to complement the PhD course on Nonlinear Analysis by Melanie Rupflin in Hilary 2017.

In Januar 2016 I was invited to give an overview lecture on the Calculus of Variations and Regularity Theory at a seminar for students at the University of Osnabrück. The lecture focusses on the absolute essentials and is only a selection of results, being complete by no means.
